Epoxy garage floors are low maintenance, but routine cleaning helps prevent wear and keeps the surface looking new.

Routine Cleaning

• Sweep or dust mop regularly to remove dirt and debris
• Clean spills immediately to prevent staining
• Use a microfiber mop with warm water
   

Recommended Cleaning Method

• Warm water with a pH-neutral cleaner
• Soft mop or soft bristle brush for tougher areas
• Light rinse if needed to remove residue

• Avoid dragging heavy items across the floor
• Keep vehicle tires clean from dirt and debris
   

Commercial floors require more frequent cleaning depending on traffic, equipment use, and exposure to oils or chemicals.

Daily / Frequent Cleaning

• Remove dirt and debris using a broom or floor sweeper
• Clean spills immediately, especially oils and chemicals
   

Scheduled Cleaning

• Use auto scrubbers with non-abrasive pads or soft brushes
• Apply approved cleaning solutions as needed
• Rinse thoroughly to remove all residue
   

Best Practices

• Use only non-abrasive pads and brushes
• Avoid chemical buildup on the surface
• Focus cleaning on high-traffic areas
   

• Acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products, etc.)
• Harsh chemicals or heavy degreasers not designed for coated floors
• Abrasive pads, stiff brushes, or grinding tools
• Soap-heavy cleaners that leave residue
• “No-rinse” cleaning products that cause buildup

These products can dull the finish, leave residue, or damage the coating over time.

Pressure washing is not recommended as a primary cleaning method.
