SCV Garage Professionals backs qualifying residential garage floor coating systems with a 15-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential garage use. This warranty is designed to provide straightforward coverage while clearly outlining the conditions, limitations, and care requirements that help preserve long-term performance.

This warranty covers qualifying residential garage floor coating systems installed by SCV Garage Professionals under normal residential garage use.

Materials
Defects in coating materials supplied as part of the installed system that materially affect performance.

Workmanship
Application-related failure caused by installation error, including peeling, delamination, or loss of adhesion not caused by moisture, slab-related issues, misuse, abuse, or improper care.

Covered Systems
Epoxy garage floor coating systems
Metallic garage floor coating systems
Decorative garage floor coating systems

This warranty does not cover conditions, damage, or performance issues caused by or related to:

Moisture or hydrostatic pressure in or below the concrete
Concrete cracking, slab movement, settling, or structural shifting
Pre-existing concrete defects, contamination, or prior coating failure
Outdoor surfaces or any coating system exposed to weather conditions, unless specifically stated in writing by SCV Garage Professionals
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, impact, improper cleaning, or failure to follow recommended care guidelines
Normal wear over time, including scratches, scuffs, fading, loss of gloss, or surface dulling consistent with normal use
Minor cosmetic variation in color, texture, or finish that does not affect performance
Slippery conditions when the floor is wet, dirty, or exposed to certain contaminants
Repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by others after installation
Events beyond our control, including flooding, fire, storms, accidents, or other external causes

This warranty applies only to the qualifying residential garage floor coating system installed by SCV Garage Professionals. Other services, improvements, or project components are not covered. Work performed by subcontractors or outside professionals is separate from this warranty unless specifically stated in writing.

Proper care and maintenance help preserve the appearance and performance of your floor coating. Please refer to our Care & Maintenance guidelines for recommended cleaning methods, protective measures, and long-term care recommendations.

Proper maintenance is required to help preserve the appearance and performance of the coating system. The owner is responsible for routine cleaning and care based on SCV Garage Professionals’ recommended maintenance guidelines.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, including:

Acidic or harsh chemical cleaners
Abrasive pads, stiff brushes, grinding tools, or other damaging cleaning methods
Soap-heavy or residue-forming cleaning products
Pressure washing as a primary cleaning method
Dragging heavy items or equipment across the surface
Failure to clean spills or contaminants within a reasonable time

Normal wear, surface scuffing, scratches, and topcoat wear over time are not considered defects in materials or workmanship. Depending on use and conditions, periodic maintenance or recoating may be recommended to help preserve appearance and performance.

If a covered issue is confirmed, SCV Garage Professionals may repair or recoat the affected area as appropriate under this warranty. Coverage is limited to the original coating service provided.

This warranty:

Applies to the original purchaser
May be transferred one time only within one year of the original installation date
Requires full payment and proper maintenance to remain valid

Any suspected warranty issue should be reported promptly after it is discovered so the condition can be evaluated before additional damage occurs.
