CARE & MAINTENANCE

Quick Daily Care

  • Sweep or dust mop with a soft broom or microfiber mop to remove dirt and dust.
  • Wipe up spills as they happen to prevent staining and buildup.
  • Optional: Use mats under heavy items like motorcycles, gym equipment, or parked vehicles to reduce wear.

Simple Routine Cleaning

  • Mix warm water with a gentle cleaner such as:
    • Simple Green (all-purpose cleaner)
    • Dawn Dish Soap or other mild dish soaps
    • A small amount of ammonia per gallon of warm water
  • Mop lightly using a microfiber mop or soft-bristle brush.
  • Rinse if needed to remove residue.
  • Quick tip: Squeegee water or spills to prevent streaks.

Easy Deep Cleaning (Once in a While)

  • Scrub lightly with a soft-bristle brush for stubborn dirt or grime.
  • Rinse thoroughly.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners, or abrasive pads — they can dull the finish.

Tips to Keep It Looking New

  • Don’t drag heavy objects across the floor.
  • Keep vehicle tires clean to reduce debris.
  • Protect areas with concentrated metal pressure (kickstands, gym equipment, heavy tools) using mats.
  • Address small scratches or marks early.
  • Recoating is only needed occasionally, depending on use and traffic.

What to Avoid

  • Acidic or citrus-based cleaners
  • Harsh chemicals or degreasers
  • Abrasive pads or stiff brushes
  • Grinding tools
  • Pressure washing as your main cleaning method

✅ Bottom Line

Maintaining your epoxy floor is easy and low-effort. Sweep, mop, rinse, and occasionally use protective mats — that’s it. Following these simple steps will keep your floor looking great and performing well for years.
