10-YEAR LIMITED CABINET WARRANTY

SCV Garage Professionals backs qualifying garage cabinet systems with a 10-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in cabinet materials and workmanship under normal residential garage use. This warranty is intended to provide clear, straightforward coverage while outlining the conditions, exclusions, and care requirements that help protect long-term performance.

This warranty applies only to qualifying garage cabinet systems installed by SCV Garage Professionals and used under normal residential garage conditions.

Defects in cabinet materials that materially affect the performance of the cabinet system, including delaminating, peeling, or other material failure under normal intended use.

Failure of cabinet hinges or related hardware components due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended residential use.

Qualifying cabinet finishes include 10-year limited coverage for discoloration under normal residential garage conditions.

This warranty does not cover conditions, damage, or performance issues caused in whole or in part by any of the following:

• overloading cabinets, shelves, or drawers beyond their intended capacity 
• damage caused by swinging, hanging, climbing, or pulling on doors, drawers, or cabinet components 
• misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper use of the cabinet system 
• scratches, dents, scuffs, chips, or other normal cosmetic wear over time 
• rust or corrosion caused by improper storage of corrosive materials, including chlorine or similar chemicals 
• damage caused by water intrusion, flooding, excessive humidity, moisture exposure, or other environmental conditions outside normal garage use 
• fading, finish change, or material movement caused by direct sun exposure, extreme heat, or other site conditions, except where specifically covered above for qualifying discoloration 
• improper installation, alteration, repair, or modification performed by others after installation 
• movement, removal, or reinstallation of the cabinet system after original installation 
• natural variation in wood grain, color, texture, or other finish characteristics that do not affect performance 
• fire, flood, storms, accidents, or other events beyond our control 

Garage cabinets are designed for normal residential storage use only. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by overloading, excessive weight, negligence, or improper use.

Do not allow children to swing, hang, or climb on cabinet doors, drawers, or shelving.

Do not store chlorine or other corrosive chemicals inside the cabinets. These materials can cause hinges and other metal components to rust or corrode and are not covered under this warranty.

Proper care and responsible use help preserve both the appearance and long-term performance of the cabinet system.

To remain eligible for coverage, cabinets must be used as intended and maintained with reasonable care. This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• excessive weight or improper loading 
• impact damage 
• harsh or abrasive cleaners 
• negligence or failure to use the cabinets in a reasonable manner 
• using cabinet doors, shelves, or drawers as steps, ladders, or support surfaces 

If a covered condition is confirmed, SCV Garage Professionals’ sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace the affected cabinet component only, as appropriate under this warranty. Coverage is limited to the original cabinet service provided and does not include replacement of unaffected components, labor by others, transportation costs, or other related expenses.

Repair or replacement of the affected component is the exclusive remedy available under this warranty.

This warranty:

• applies to the original purchaser 
• requires full payment for the original project 
• requires normal residential use and proper care to remain valid 
• does not extend to damage caused by misuse, overloading, negligence, or excluded conditions listed above 
• 
  

Any potential warranty issue should be reported promptly after it is discovered so the condition can be evaluated before additional damage or wear occurs. Any warranty claim must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the issue is discovered.
