SCV Garage Professionals backs qualifying residential garage floor coating systems with a 15-Year Limited Warranty covering manufacturing defects and improper application under normal residential garage use. This warranty is intended to provide clear, straightforward coverage while outlining the conditions, exclusions, and maintenance requirements that help protect long-term performance.

This warranty applies only to qualifying residential garage floor coating systems installed by SCV Garage Professionals over a sound, properly prepared concrete substrate and used under normal residential conditions.

Manufacturing defects in the coating materials supplied as part of the installed system that materially affect the performance of the floor.

Application-related failure caused by improper installation, including peeling, delamination, or loss of adhesion, provided the condition was not caused by moisture, slab-related issues, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, or any excluded condition listed below.

Qualifying residential floor coating systems may include:

• epoxy garage floor coating systems 
• metallic garage floor coating systems 
• decorative garage floor coating systems 
• 
  

This warranty does not cover conditions, damage, or performance issues caused in whole or in part by any of the following:

• moisture or hydrostatic pressure in, below, or through the concrete 
• concrete cracking, slab movement, settling, or structural shifting 
• pre-existing concrete defects, contamination, or prior coating failure 
• outdoor surfaces or any coating system exposed to weather, unless specifically stated in writing by SCV Garage Professionals 
• misuse, abuse, neglect, impact damage, improper cleaning, or failure to follow recommended care guidelines 
• normal wear over time, including scratches, scuffs, fading, loss of gloss, or surface dulling consistent with regular use 
• minor cosmetic variation in color, texture, or finish that does not affect system performance 
• slippery conditions caused by water, dirt, residue, or other contaminants on the surface 
• repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by others after installation 
• events beyond our control, including flooding, fire, storms, accidents, or other outside causes 
• 
  

This warranty applies only to the qualifying residential garage floor coating system installed by SCV Garage Professionals. It does not extend to other services, improvements, or project components unless specifically stated in writing. Work performed by subcontractors or outside professionals is not covered under this warranty unless expressly included in writing.

Proper care helps preserve both the appearance and long-term performance of the coating system. Please refer to SCV Garage Professionals’ Care and Maintenance guidelines for recommended cleaning methods, protective measures, and long-term floor care.

To remain eligible for coverage, the floor must be maintained in accordance with SCV Garage Professionals’ recommended care guidelines. The property owner is responsible for routine cleaning and reasonable upkeep.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, including:

• acidic or harsh chemical cleaners 
• abrasive pads, stiff brushes, grinding tools, or other damaging cleaning methods 
• soap-heavy or residue-forming cleaning products 
• pressure washing used as a primary cleaning method 
• dragging heavy items or equipment across the surface 
• failure to clean spills or contaminants within a reasonable time 
• 
  

Normal wear is not considered a defect in materials or workmanship. This includes surface scuffing, scratches, light wear patterns, gloss reduction, and topcoat wear that can occur over time with regular use. Depending on traffic and conditions, periodic maintenance or recoating may be recommended to help preserve appearance and performance.

If a covered condition is confirmed, SCV Garage Professionals’ sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or recoat the affected area only, as appropriate under this warranty. Coverage is limited to the original coating service provided and does not include replacement of unaffected areas.

Repair or recoating of the affected area is the exclusive remedy available under this warranty.

This warranty:

• applies to the original purchaser 
• may be transferred one time only within one year of the original installation date 
• requires full payment for the original project 
• requires proper maintenance to remain valid

Any potential warranty issue should be reported promptly after it is discovered so the condition can be evaluated before additional damage or wear occurs. Any warranty claim must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the issue is discovered.
